Introduction to GOL Airlines

Brazilian airline GOL has its main office in Sao Paulo. The airline runs an expanding international and domestic scheduled service; Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Brasilia are its principal hubs. Additionally, Belo Horizonte, Salvador da Bahia, Porte Alegre, and Punta Cana are the locations where GOL Airlines focuses its operations. Although the airline also flies to a number of locations in South, Central, and North America, it mostly focuses on providing flights within Brazil.

In 2001, the airline launched operations with a flight from Brasilia to So Paulo. With flights to over 80 locations in 11 countries, GOL is currently one of Brazil's major airlines and the leading low-cost carrier in the country.

Luggage allowance

A free carry-on bag from GOL Airlines and a personal item, like a laptop and bag or a duty-free shopping bag, are both included in the luggage allowance.

The complimentary carry-on bag has measurements of 35 x 25 x 55 cm.

Checked baggage must weigh more than 23 kg or measure over 50 cm by 28 cm by 80 cm.

If the allowed amount of checked baggage is insufficient, travelers may add checked bag to their flight for an extra cost.

Check-in options

The GOL check-in internet portal allows for online check-in. To check in, travelers only need to input the necessary flight information.

With the necessary travel documents, travelers can check in at the airport by going to one of the check-in counters or a self-service kiosk.

Economy class

The airline provides a range of menu options to make your travel even more enjoyable depending on the duration and route of your flight. On all flights, free refreshments are provided, and on foreign flights, lunches or light meals are served. The airline also offers comfort products including blankets, pillows, and dentistry kits on medium- to long-distance flights.

New, cozy seating is available in economy. Seats in the economy class are arranged in a 3 x 3 configuration and have a 30-32" seat pitch and 17" width.

Premium economy class

On foreign flights, Premium Economy offers comfort and special advantages.

Priority check-in and boarding, increased luggage allowance, entry to airport lounges, a luxury kit, free flight alterations, and other perks are provided to passengers.

In-flight Entertainment

By linking to the airline's Wi-Fi connection, GOL Online, and picking from a variety of complimentary entertainment options, passengers can take advantage of in-flight leisure on their own personal gadgets.

Travelers on GOL flights have access to in-flight entertainment that includes live TV and a variety of the hottest new movies and TV shows via Gogo Entertainment. Users can download the Gogo Entertainment app prior to their travel to expedite the procedure.

Wi-Fi connection

With GOL's in-flight Wi-Fi connection, GOL Online, travelers may remain linked to life on the ground. Travelers can access the internet using GOL Online, which offers a variety of services to suit all requirements.

Select the Messages bundle to utilize messaging services like Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp while travelling.

Choose the Light bundle to enable light surfing on passengers' electronic devices.

Alternatively, select the Max option, which enables users to watch movies and music from their preferred streaming services like Netflix and Spotify.
