The fleet
Although the Star Peru fleet has undergone many changes, it now consists of 6 Bae 146 and 2 CRJ 200 aircraft. The airline started running commercial flights to Pucallpa, its initial destination, in 2004 after adding its first Boeing 737-200 to its fleet. A year later, Star Per changed its name to StarPeru and slowly added more Boeing 737-200 aircraft to its fleet, bringing the total to five aircraft.
In 2008, Star Per made the decision to replace its fleet with more effective aircraft that were better suited for Peru and its airports, opting for the British-built BAe 146. With the departure of the final Boeing 737-200 aircraft, the fleet's restoration was finished in the beginning of 2010. Following that year, the business changed its corporate colors and look, kicking off a new phase of expansion.
